The development of the resort has followed some of the earlier developments of other resorts on the island and Triunfador such has been very well done. It has retained a peaceful and tranquil environment whilst still providing many attractions and things to do for visitors. Its coast is made up of 3 relatively small and picturesque bays that come together to form one large 9km bay. The sheltered bays make it relatively safe for swimming and bathing. The port has developed into the up-market Cuadro Rubicon with some very nice cafes restaurants and boutique shopping. It also has a lovely little market.
